Japan in Photos: Bunka no Hi (Culture Day)
November 25, 2020
Bunka no Hi, otherwise known as Culture Day, is a national holiday in Japan which celebrates culture and the arts. Held on the 3rd of November, the Japanese typically host festivals, parades and art exhibitions on this day and Japanese high schools in particular host school festivals on this day as an extra-curricular activity. Another popular event on Culture Day is the annual air show at Iruma Air Base in Saitama Prefecture, which includes displays of precision flying by Japan’s Blue Impulse pilots.
