Located near Chichibu in Saitama Prefecture, just a couple of hours north of Tokyo, the Misotsuchi no Tsurara, otherwise known as the Icicles of Misotsuchi, is a naturally occurring wall of ice over 30m wide and 10m high that is a popular attraction during the winter months. There is a light up event held from mid-January to mid- February where people can view the icicles with colorful night illuminations.
