The Miyajima Oyster Festival is an annual festival held in Miyajima city, Hiroshima, where delicious oysters are cooked outdoors for everyone to enjoy. The festival takes place in front of the Miyajima pier and is usually accompanied by a Japanese taiko drum as entertainment. Sadly, the event has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19, but we are all looking forward to enjoying it next year.
