The image of Japan has gone through significant changes over the past century. In recent decades, Japanese pop culture has come to be one of the most significant forces in shaping public opinion overseas. Professor Nassim Otmazgin of Hebrew University of Jerusalem joins us to talk about how Japan's pop culture has influenced attitudes in different parts of the world, and how it may continue to be a global cultural phenomenon.
