Offshore wind power generation

Japan is promoting the introduction of renewable energies while curbing the national burden and coexisting with local communities. Among these, wind power generation holds great promise. However, there are only a limited number of regions in Japan that can introduce the leading power generation systems. Therefore, offshore wind power generation is being considered and planned. Compared to onshore wind power, offshore wind power has better wind conditions and less wind turbulence. In addition, there are no restrictions on land or roads, making it relatively easy to introduce large wind turbines, and there is less impact on the landscape and noise.
